Bayaze sesame seeds are sourced directly from small family farms in Iraq (known for producing some of the world’s best sesame crops). The seeds are carefully roasted and then stone-ground in the ancient town of Amedye, where generations of craftspeople have perfected the art of making راشي (Tahin) and طحينة (Tahina).

Our Secret is Centuries Old

See and taste the difference made by our traditional granite millstones. We stone-mill our fire roasted and hulled sesame seeds to preserve the delicate oils and nuanced aroma. The result is a silky-smooth راشي (tahin) with a naturally rich color and balanced flavor that sets it apart from mass-produced pastes.
